Telehealth consultations with Agility Health Group Pty Ltd (trading as Agility Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology) are exclusively conducted online via video and audio link and/ or over telephone. Telehealth consultations with Agility Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology have been enabled as an alternate offering to our standard in-clinic appointments for those unable to physically attend our clinic in Penrith.

Telehealth consultations with Agility Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology are conducted online via video and audio link using our practice software provider, Cliniko. All video calls are secured with end-to-end encryption and meet strict privacy and security standards. Cliniko keeps all records safe and all features are designed to meet the data protection regulations of Australian Privacy Principles, GDPR, and HIPAA.

Until 30 September 2020, telehealth appointments for physiotherapy and exercise physiology are now available for Medicare referred patients (your GP will have provided you a referral to us), for patients undergoing treatment for work injuries under a workers compensation claim, and for DVA clients. Just book on our website or call us on 0291880751 to schedule an appointment. As at 9 April 2020, some private health insurers now allow claims for physiotherapy and exercise physiology consultations delivered via telehealth for a specified duration. Before making an appointment with us, we suggest you contact your private health insurer to confirm their terms & conditions for claims for services delivered via telehealth. Where your health fund does not allow claims for physiotherapy or exercise physiology services delivered via telehealth, and you wish to proceed with a telehealth appointment, your consultation with Agility Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology will be 100% out-of-pocket. You booking a telehealth consultation with Agility Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology, and paying upfront for this service, acknowledges your understanding and acceptance that you may be subject to no valid claim being made with your health fund provider.

Telehealth private patient consultations which are cancelled more that one hour before the scheduled commence time will be refunded in full. Consultations cancelled within one hour of of the scheduled consultation commence time will be refunded 50% of the fee paid. A no-show to a consultation will result in a forfeit of monies paid to us. Any refund amounts due will be credited via an online bank transfer, irrespective of original payment method. All care will be taken to ensure all physical, movement, stretching, exercise and training instructions given to you by our qualified staff are safe to do. Your acceptance of these terms acknowledge your understanding that any movements, stretching or exercises completed outside the premises of Agility Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology are done at your own risk. Agility Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology accepts no risk for any injuries which occur outside our premises as a result of our advice.

Before your telehealth consultation, you will be sent an email requesting you to provide as much information relevant to your existing health condition and/ or complaint. This allows our staff to conduct appropriate research and sufficiently prepare for your online consultation. Any personal information sent to us (including photos, images, x-rays, medical records) concerning you and your health condition will not be disclosed to third parties without your prior agreement.
